I also heard NakedNews is coming to Fox.

So CNN has learned; keep your enemies close, but....

Nothing like flooding the last major semi-conservative news media source with liberal loyalists. So long Fox.

...When the History is written of our Era it will be TV Talking Heads ...like GRETA VAN SUSTEREN... who lied on TV over and over again just to keep BILL CLINTON in Office during his Impeachment that will be nailed as the Traitors to America that they really are.

...GRETA VAN SUSTEREN = JOHNNY WALKER...

...4-Sure

Ick. Is Fox News becoming the trash magnet for the rest of the networks? I liked the old days, when they were vaguely reputable.

Moving comments from duplicate thread.

12:04:09 ET: CNN's second-highest rated host Greta van Susteren is jumping to rival FOX NEWS for nearly $1 million a year, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

CNN had countered the FOX offer with more money -- close to $1.4 million a year -- but she rejected, say op sources.

CNN fumbled during negotiations, say insiders, all but handing FOX the PR coup. Top AOLTIMEWARNER suits failed to sign Greta to a long term deal early on, opening up the option to jump. The move is seen as a personal blow to new CNN head Walter Isaacson.

The multiyear deal is expected to be signed within the hour, according to sources around the legal star.

FOX NEWS President Roger Ailes has given Greta the 10 pm slot, and has assured heavy ad promotion.

CNN executives are furious with Greta's dramatic turn. "She really showed her true colors, she has no loyality to the network that made her," said one top executive in New York.

CNN first hired van Susteren as a legal analyst 10 years ago... MORE

Hahahaha...

Soon Fox will be CNN.

Soon Fox will be CNN.

Maybe it should be worded:

Soon more conservative Fox will replace the extremely liberal CNN as the most popular news and information network...

I can't believe it. Why would they want her? Does she have a following? She began on CNN as an OJ booster. Since then folks around her have called her Greta van Satan. Not loved here.

Oh come on. I can't stand her. Fox ... what is going on. Now I have another person to avoid watching on this channel. I am loosing hope with these ( fox) people in charge. Perhaps we are just not enough viewing audience for the powers tah be over there. Greed is a very bad thing.

Don't get your panties in a wad over this. Like Geraldo, she's a chameleon. She'll assume the color of whoever pays her. Don't be surprised if she and Geraldo begin to spout conservative-like views. They are nothing more than news-readers, who appear to have thinking abilities. They have no real effect on true thinking people.

Disappointing, if true. Scientologist (which almost automatically means headcase), liberal, unwatchable.

I'll take my evening walk during her show.

FOX never was conservative -- but they were relatively fair and balanced as advertised. Now, they are becoming unbalanced -- to the Left! This is expected from mainstream media. I have stopped watching everything on FOX except for O'Reilly and if he doesn't give sufficient coverage to the Geraldo lie, I am going to stop watching him, too. His "No Spin" zone will have become just another "No Coverage" zone!

Greta Van Susteren jumps from CNN to Fox News Channel

(01-02) 10:22 PST NEW YORK (AP) -- CNN personality Greta Van Susteren is jumping to Fox News Channel, continuing the lively rivalry between the two cable news networks.

Van Susteren, who rose to prominence at CNN as an on-air legal analyst during the O.J. Simpson trials, had until recently been host of two daily programs on CNN.

Fox News Channel plans to install Van Susteren as host of its 10 p.m. talk show. It has been looking for a regular host there since Paula Zahn left for CNN in September, a move that caused some bitterness at Fox.

"Greta has distinguished herself in both the legal and journalism fields and has also demonstrated an ability to attract a loyal viewership," said Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes.

In addition to filling a prime-time slot at Fox, Van Susteren's departure creates a hole at CNN. She had most recently been host of "The Point," a show created for her, that ran at 8 p.m. ET.

Van Susteren had also been a co-host of the daytime legal program "Burden of Proof," but that was cancelled after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Roger Cossack, her co-host on that show, was let go by CNN last month.

"The Point" was pre-empted frequently for news. CNN was regularly running a "Live from Afghanistan" program in the time slot over the holidays.

Kate Snow will replace Van Susteren on "The Point," at least temporarily.

Either they're attempting to infultrate FOX, or they're starting to realize the right is, of course, always right!
Maybe they want to be on the winning side as the poop is hitting the liberal fan!

It appears to me that the accountants and executives at Fox News are getting nervous about their "conservative" label. Even though Fox may say it is simply "fair", that still appears "conservative" by comparison. The accountants are telling the executives that being "too conservative" may not be good for the bottom line. The executives are out trying to achieve "balance" in their pool of on-air talent.

CORRECTION: It's spelled Greta van Satan. There is one woman in the world harder to watch than Susan Estrich, and Fox found her.

Who is Fox going to hire next? Larry King. I belive his contract is up at CNN soon. I think I heard Greta's husband was counsel for the Democratic party. It is hard to believe she is going to chnage her stripes. The 10PM EST is a prime spot. Woe is me.
