The number of Taliban and al Qaeda fighters in U.S. custody has risen to 150 after another 14 prisoners were detained at a makeshift jail at Kandahar airport, Pentagon officials said yesterday.

Military officers said the prisoners were being fingerprinted and interrogated for information that could lead to Osama bin Laden and his top lieutenants.

They ought to be going up to Elmendorf AFB in Alaska or out to the base on Attu in the Aleutians, not Guantanamo. They escape into Cuba, Castro won't turn them over, he'd likely fly them out back to Pakistan.
