The greatest risk to the war on terror is lack of focus. Decriminalization of soft drugs would be an excellent start toward feeing up LEA resources to the much more important job of keeping the towelheads from mass producing anthrax or popping a nuke in a major city.

Drug dealers are not responsible for the incarceration on any given day of some 500,000 adults--100,000 of whom are nonviolent--in U.S. jails for drug takingcorrection: 500 000 criminals who rape, steal, kill others directly or with their cars, including 100 000 who are "non violent" because they either plea bargained down their original convictions as drug dealers, who abused their wives and kids, but the "loving wife" refused to press charges, so the cops used "simple possession" to protect her life, or who are "non violent" because DUI is considered a non violent crime.
Nor are drug dealers responsible for the 3 million kids in foster care or raised by relatives because the parents are too high and drunk to care for their kids.
However, if we executed all the drug dealers, we'd have less social problems

Very good post.
Shall we bump this to Dane, Cultural Jihad, TexasAggie79, and Kevin Curry? Maybe they'll finally come to their senses?

Interesting - its not nice to not disclose relevant affiliations ...
News/Current Events
Source: Ludwig von Mises Institute
Looks like we've ferreted out a sock puppet of Lewpy Rockwell, he being the founder and president of the Mises Institute in Auburn, Ala and all.
One wonders if Ilana Mercer and Lew Rockwell share the same roll of Reynolds Wrap.

Good stuff, NCFBTN. Intense and accurate,IMO.
Your handle kinda reminds me of a few Monty Python names from the movie "The Holy Grail" one of which I may use for my next screenname,(if necessary) - KnightsWhoUpUntilRecentlyWereCalledNi and SirNotAppearingInThisPicture

Addicted to the Drug War is an interesting title for this piece. It seems to me that the drug users and apologists would be more concerned about their own addiction.
