Political correctness has become a scourge on the American landscape. Every day, some alert freeper posts at least one story whereby some individual or organization brazenly strips someones rights under the guise of "diversity", or alleged racism, or ersatz interpretation of the Constitution. Our universities, our state and federal bureauocracies,national news media and Hollywood have all surrendered in one way or another to this terrorism.

We have some of the best minds in the country posting here, so I thought what better place to find the "cure" than to solicit my fellow freepers. After all, it will be up to people like ourselves to stop this insideous onslaught of mind control.

"Political correctness" is a mindset. People who talk and act in "politically correct" ways do so because they feel that eyes are on them. Whose eyes? The eyes of the liberal elite who control so much of the mainstream news and entertainment media. People who talk and act in "politically correct" ways with such careful deliberation are seeking the approval of the liberal elite while at the same time fending off the crucifixtion of the liberal elite should they make a "politically incorrect" misstep. Watch every word! And use words like "diversity" and "multicultural" whenever you can slip them in, and substitute "gender" for sex when noting somebody's sex. And so on. This gains you favor with the liberal elite.

Rush Limbaugh has most aptly described this phenomenom as a "template". It is the template which calls a Democrat who goes against his party "a betrayer" and a Republican who goes against his party "an independent who voted his conscience". You see this all the time. It is so imbedded in the subliminal "collective conscience" that there seems nothing unusual about it - - it is simply taken as a given and has become a basic mindset - - a "template".

So.... the key to crushing the cancer of "political correctness" (and indeed, liberalism itself) is, in my opinion the process of replacing the awareness that "the liberal elite is watching" with an acute awareness that "the conservative mainstream is watching". And this is happening. Over the past couple of years I have noticed the occasional defensive column from a liberal. Liberals are on the defensive! More and more, I am noticing the network big boys being careful not to overtly display their liberal tendencies. And look what Isaacson at CNN is doing! These people are adjusting because they are becoming aware that we are watching. It is critical that there be absolutely no let-up on the pressure.

We can .. little by little .. We don't need to scream and yell .. but we also don't need to put up with the PC Crap ..

What we need to do is throw this PC stuff right back in the face of all those liberals .. two can play this game .. Seriously .. can they stop hundreds of people at a class graduation from saying a prayer .. NOPE

Can they stop us from put a Nativity Scene on our front lawns at christmas time .. NOPE

Can the stop us from being kind to our neighbor by holding a door open for others and wishing them a good day .. NOPE

And as for the LOSERS on the 3 magor media station .. demand that they tell the truth .. it that really to much to ask for?.. I think not .. and if they continue with their garbage .. boycott if possible .. stop buying products from their sponsors .. take the money away from these people .. they may start to listen to us ..

I do recall that speech that Clinton gave soon after leaving office .. I think it was Dean Whitter .. could be wrong there .. but EVERYONE was ticked off .. threaten to pull their accounts .. many did just that .. and THAT GOT THEIR ATTENTION DIDN'T IT ..

See it's really simple .. throw is back in their face .. if it's good enough for them .. it's good enough for us

Insist that schools teach factual American history first and foremost. Tell them to offer a geography course. Get rid of "social studies." Teach science using the scientific method. Institute proven math programs. Tell them to teach English grammar and the literature of the West (Great Books curriculum). Tell them that you want them to institute a rigorous classical curriculum in all subject areas. If schools do that, they won't have time for some of the detrimental nonsense they pass off as education.

As the unofficial spokesbigot of BRAAD (the Bigot and Redneck Alliance Against Defamation) I encourage everyone who is intolerant of something to join us. You don't have to hide your intolerance in the closet any more. We have declared war on bigophobes and will no longer tolerate their attacks on our lifestyle.
