Surprised that he and other "Ned Flanders" haven't commented on my screen name and branded me evil for using it. I'm sure I am going to go to hell for it so I might as well enjoy myself in the mean time.

The Metallica song Leper Messiah from the album Master of Puppets is a great tune about the Charlie Church crowd, specifically the televangelists. Give it a listen some time if you have never heard it. I think I will post the lyrics here for you and others to comment on.

Don’t get me wrong, I kinda like Khepera, I used to think like him, guess that is why I rib him so much, because I see myself in a lot of his posts.
I believe that we are probably form different worlds, but I am impressed with your stick-to-it attitude.

I see a nice evening around the camp fire playing Bluegrass music... everybody singing... maybe a little gospel music and you see me as a no fun kinda guy with a badge. I have a whole buncha people that would break out laughing when they hear this description you have so carefully crafted of me. A real knee slapper they would say. Oh yes my favorite songs would be "Poor Ellen Smith" or "Crash on the highway" or "I'll fly away" and about a hundred others.

Tunes like "Egg suckin’ dog" "Granny’s in the cellar" all mixed with the crickets and frog calls and the smell of hickory smoked meat. You folks wouldn't recognize fun if it bit you on the butt and the music you listen to dosen't have 4 part harmony. Last time I heard it didn't have 1 part harmony. There ain't no Ho's in Bluegrass and the only bitch is missing out on the jam session and the chance to sing "Down to the valley to pray" or "On the Highway to heaven". I’ll be somewhere workin’ for the Lord.

Personally, as a right wing, Christian, happily married, gun owning, deer hunting, wacko...

I dropped the HP question on my Southern Baptist, right wing, pro war, venison loving wacko pastor, and his take on the whole thing was much ado about nothing.

Niether my 14 year old son, or 9 year old daughter have read the stuff. We are looking forward to that hobbit thingy movie soon, as we have all read the books..

In case, you missed it, I stated I could care less about Harry Potter. I grew watching Bewitched reruns. I am simply pointing out the never ending hypocrisy of the liberaltarian position. If it was a left-wing loser burning a flag or the Bible, most liberaltarians would be defending those doing the burn. But a pastor excercising his freedom to buy and burn a Harry Potter book is attacked by liberaltarians as a threat to free speech, despite the fact the liberaltarian position backs such activities by individuals.
