G. Gordon Liddy radio show in Chicago or Milwaukee area?

I live halfway between Chicago and Milwaukee and I used to listen to G. Gordon Liddy's radio show on a Milwaukee station but they dropped it and I haven't been able to find it in either the Chicago or Milwaukee radio air waves. Is Mr. Liddy's program broadcast in either market? The Liddy Letter website doesn't contain any information about where his program is broadcast and the link I have that used to be to his program is now redirected to the Liddy Letter website. I'll wander back here for your answers/comments but feel free to email me directly as well.

You can find links to listen to conservative talk shows online, including the G-Man
HERE.

Thanks for the link; it was just what I was looking for since my old one was outdated. Unfortunately, it seems like Westwood One is unable to sell the program into either the Chicago or Milwaukee market. That amazes me but so it goes. Guess I'll have to give the streaming links a try but I'm not real optimistic since I'm on a dial-up connection. Thanks again. Mike

The list is not too accurate, unfortunately. They say they are updating it.
On a previous thread, someone suggested to me the CCRadio hope this is the right link, which has a truly surprising ability to pick up far away stations. When I get through paying for the radio, I'll get the selectenna, and then the one that eliminates interference, and I should be able to pick him up clearly from 3 or 4 teeny-tiny low power stations.

I used to listen to the G Man in the Kansas City area but they took him off the air and I miss his show! Somebody I work with told me that on his car radio at night he can pick up the show on 1620 AM. I tried it and from 9-11pm CST Mon.-Fri. I can hear the G Man but only in my car radio so I have to go drive around or stop by a Sonic Drive in or something to sit in my car and listen! It doesn't come in real good in the garage. 1620AM is coming from Station Center I think they said, in Texas. (Quite a ways from Kansas!) It comes in quite good. Once in a while it drifts to a sports station, but not much. It has been great to hear his "Wartime Editions" lately! He says he has a web site and I have been to it, and it's good. The old web site is no longer in use, I believe. The new site is: www.theggordonliddyshow.com I was in Chicago this summer and looked forward to hearing the G Man on the radio (this was before I found out about 1620AM) but I tried all the stations in Chicago and never could find him, so I don't think he is on there, which was news to me because I thought such a big city would have the G Man on the air! The show is great! People who want to listen might TRY going to 1620AM in their car radios between 9-11pm M-F CST. I pick up this Texas station clear up in Northeastern Kansas.

I'm astounded more NYS stations don't carry him. About the only ones are 2-3 rinkydink AM's in the Finger Lakes area. Luckily I live within 30 miles of 'em and can gettum. But there's a vast area in Central-Western-Eastern NY that should be fertile ground for Liddyism. His reviews and comments on the news alone are worth hearing, since he presents important and current news from Consevative publications unread by too many Americans. In my opinion his show has 10X the depth of Rush MemememememememememememIIIIIIIIIIIIII. In addition to being quite an intellectual and very knowledgeable about politics, military, international affairs, firearms, and a lot more, unlike most talkshow hosts, Liddy is polite and actally LISTENS to callers (unlike Rush MemememememeIIIIIIII who constantly interrupts, butts in, and sarcastically insults his callers to display his brilliance and inflate his ego. As if he needs THAT.)

I'll get the selectenna, and then the one that eliminates interference In the meantime, you could try getting a square piece of styrofoam about 18" square by 4" thick (the stuff that protects monitors is close enough). Tie or glue the end of a piece of thin wire (20 ga or so) to one point on the styrofoam and wrap all but the last two feet around the circumference of the styrofoam. Attach the loose end of the wire to the antenna on your radio. When you pick up a weak signal, try moving the styrofoam around to "aim" towards the station. It MIGHT help reception.
Then, it might not. There are a ton of variables that go into quality antenna making, but a longer antenna is generally better than a shorter one. Even a longer wire wrapped around a non-conductive surface is generally better than a short antenna.
