Would you still carry?

So let's suppose that you own a gun. In a handbook or similar, your employer says you can't bring the firearm to work.

Question: do you bring the gun to work anyway? (I mean into the workplace in your purse or pocket or waistband, not "to work" as in "in my car in the parking garage five blocks away.")

Absolutely ... used to work at a steel foundry in Dallas in a bad part of town. Dropped my 9mm into my book bag every day for almost a year.

My favorite of Xena's edged weapons was that circular doohickey that looked exactly like the Studebaker logo.

Swords are hands down the best stuff to play with followed by spears. If you want power/impact go with the broadsaw (see profile page and look at the blade in the image close) but short swords are fast and can punch well.

But never bring a knife or studebaker emblem to a gun fight :)

Better to be convicted by twelve than carried by six.

I work for my self and have a CCW, so the question is moot.

I do, however, allow my employees to bring their firearms to work.

"I do every working day."

I'd say "So do I", except I'm afraid the local authorities wouldn't misinterpret my statement

I'd have to vote for Taarna as the preferred woman warrior to be subdued by. Does she ever experience "pop-out" problems during battle?

I live in Cincinnati and my company is located in the downtown area. Our company policy states specifically that no weapons are permitted in the building.

During the riots last spring, I carried to work and felt fully justified in doing so. I'm sure that my employer would have felt otherwise but then again so would local law enforcement since we do not have CC in Ohio.

I work in DC where we have responsible gun laws, so the question is moot.

Bottom line: YOU are responsible for your own security....God Bless the Cops, but You are still responsible, and cops can't be with you all the time.
