I certainly stand by that statement. Why would anyone stand up for the right to use/deal/produce illegal drugs? Those people should be crushed. There is nothing in the constitution that gives dope/dopers special standing. Unless you follow a different version than normal America.

So maybe you can answer the Qeustion that I posted to Dane. Forget for a momment that this guy was a Libertarian. For the sake of argument, think of him as a Republican. Would you still disapprove of the measures he is taking to try and force the Courts to strike down laws infringing the Second Amendment?

Where else should a citizen turn to get an UnConstitutional Law repealed? The Legislature can change laws through amendment and add laws. The Excutive cannot repeal them, only administer them. It is only through the Judicial system that UnConstitutional laws can be striken down.

If you know of some other mechanism in the Constitution, please enlighten us.

In 1921, a bootlegger named Carbine Williams had his still raided and a Deputy Sheriff was killed in the ensuing gun battle. He received a 20-30 sentence in a federal prison. Should they have just hung him on the spot instead? This was during prohibition, when posession or manufacture of any alcohol was a federal crime.
