Kennedy should move out of his walled compound to prove how safe it is out where the non-elite live.
Around here (Wash DC area) Kennedy lives in a rather protected part of Fairfax County. He has Strom Thurmond down the street, Chuck Robb, etc. It's a community full of politicians and they get more than their fair share of police protection at the expense of the hard-working taxpayers in Fairfax County.
I am not sure where Herr Schummer lives, but it's probably not in Maryland where they restrict guns.
In this age of electronic wonders, there's really no reason for Congress to assemble in one place. New York could keep Herr Schummer to themselves, and he could link up to the vote counting machine over the net. We'd all be much happier in Virginia if Schummer was unable to vist us for any reason at all.
Where would he have to call to bring in a FORKLIFT to pick this drunken pile of lard off the floor after a Kennedy shin-dig?
