What's this "Threads" stuff?

WTH is going on with the new format? I absolutely hate it so far, but then again I don't like when k00l things I'm used to change.
The "Latest Posts" was great for getting into the conversations that had the most juice.
What do you guys think?

Some of the articles I've posted that I thought were the most profound or important just kind of languished with just a few replies.
It's ironic that the st00pidist one, where I step on my dick will probably get the most replies, as it looks as if I've awoken the Cult of the Fermented Curd.
