[history]
December 12, 2001 -- Turncoat John Walker has undergone another transformation - into a "jack-in-the-box" military prisoner.
The American student who converted himself into a Taliban fighter is now finding out what it's like to be detained - inside a green shipping container in the Afghan desert.

is a metal box about 10 feet high, 10 feet wide and 25 feet long.A wooden box,3 feet high,3 feet wide and 6 feet long is more appropriate.

"Being the only detainee at the base, Walker has the whole box to himself." I doubt if the reporter meant that to be funny, but I couldn't stop laughing at that sentence. If they would cut a hole in the top, put a crank handle on the side, and put a barber chair in the box, they could make his head pop in and out of the box , like a real "jack in the box." "Pop goes the weasle" would be the perfect song to play when they did it, just like a real jack in the box. LOL LOL.

Cool! So he's in a container like the one in the picture Diogenesis posted yesterday. My comment on that thread was:
I hope that John "Taliban" Walker, the Mullah of Marin, is in there.
I like having wishes come true.

Sounds pretty spacious to me. from the pictures I've seen of him, he isn't any worse off(maybe better) than he was prior to capture. I think we should make it a matchbox size crate and forget to feed him for a few days and not tend to his injuries! But, then again, I'm just a mean ole conservative, that does not understand the term...."I feel your pain."

If they only cut the slit a little lower, say just below waist-high, then the container would be multi-purpose!

I think a detail of men walking around the container, banging on it with hammers, 24/7 would be great torture.

Hours before the riot exploded, Spann had a face-to-face confrontation with Walker at a fort near Mazar-e-Sharif in northern Afghanistan where 3,000 Taliban prisoners were being held. I'm still wondering about Walker's level of participation in that riot. If he took part in the riot then he contributed to Spann's death.

Metal gets pretty cold in the winter. I do hope little johnny has plenty of warm clothing. Maybe his mommy could send him some mittens.

Spann's father, Johnny Spann, said after burying his 32-year-old son Monday Life isn't good for Johnny right now. One son dead and one a turncoat.

LOL! Without any coffee yet, I read Marines were seen next to the container yesterday, peering into a small slot..., as Marines were seen next to the container yesterday, peeing into a small slot... Seemed appropriate to me.
To: AppyPappy
What the hell does THAT mean?? Spann's father is not Walker's father!
To: kattracks
"The American student who converted..." Anyone notice how the media is describing this traitor?
To: kattracks
I heard reports yesterday that the Marines want Walker out of Rhino ASAP as it has been very bad for morale having him there.
To: renosathug
Whhoops. Got the dad's messed up. My bad. Walkers father isn't really Walkers father so I can't keep them all straight.
To: AppyPappy
And I'll bet now he wishes he didn't have anything to do with the kid.

Marines were seen next to the container yesterday, peering into a small slot and speaking to the 20-year-old to check on his welfare. "Hey, sh*thead! You're gonna be the hit of the showers at Leavenworth!

"We feel sorry for his family, but as far as John Walker is concerned, he made his decisions and made his choices, and he should have to pay the consequences," he said.Mr. Spann is a better person than I as I don't even feel sorry for Walker's family ("He's such a good boy....").
Besides....Walker's "cell" is bigger than my office here at work. Sounds like luxury accomodations to me.
