Funny that you should say that. I first joined the conservative party back in the mid 1980's when the leadership of our local Republican Party had to spend a well-deserved stint in the Federal pokey for fraud, bribery, kick-backs, and racketeering.

Gulotta is a lame duck for a few more weeks, but no time in the pokey for him. Suffolk is only marginally less corrupt, but barely. As a fellow paesan' (I'm making an assumption based on your handle), I heartily agree with your "upstate protestant" comment.
