[history]
November 12, 2001 -- The CIA has evidence that two more hijackers, besides terror leader Mohamed Atta, met with Iraqi intelligence officials earlier this year - bolstering arguments for a Baghdad role in the attacks, it was reported yesterday.
The two other skyjackers were Atta's friends and co-conspirators, Marwan al-Shehhi and Ziad Samir Jarrah, who were believed to have been at the controls of two of the pirated jets on Sept. 11.

One thing I always say on this forum is we do not need a case for going after Sadamm. He attempted to assasinate a US President.George Bush the Elder was targeted in Iraqi plot.Reason enough to level the country IMHO.

For what RedBloodedAmerican is referring to in reply #20 see his currently posted FR thread for:
Israeli Intelligence Agency (Mossad) warned CIA of attacks - CIA did not heed warning
I agree it sounds like it could be the same 200 men trained by Iraq.

Subverting our rights to self defend, whether with suicide airliners, using Powell's administrative powers, foreigners taking us hostage or threatening us, or via anti-war demaguogues, all part of the same plan and do the same thing, is illegal and treasonous which will require ultimately action. Indeed, the earlier, the better. Either we use the right, or we lose it.

There's no doubt in my mind we have to hold Saddom Hussein responsible for his attempts of threats to this world. Do the Arab/Muslim idiots have to be reminded of what he does to them? What he's done to them? He's a very selfish, destructive, murderous, abhorrent goon. He continues to build weapons of war, do we need to remind why that is not acceptable? And you can damn well be sure the U.S. should not let it stand due to the threat he continues to bring. That's why China is so against it, not giving any thought of what idiots they are to support someone who would eventually target them too. Hitler revisited. But whoever gives him the weapons of waging war against us should be reminded they will bear the blame for any future attacks that come against us for supporting and defending beasts such as Iraq. Watch Nostradamas:Man who saw tomorrow and notice the blue turban(figure the significance-have you seen pics/paintings in Iraq with the blue turban?). Nostradamas also said things could be changed. Now's the time. Ha ha ha, seriously, check that program out. Done in the early/mid '80s with Orson Welles as host.

We cannot live in denial and put action off for future suffering.

You left off the hijacking training center at Salman Pak, outside Baghdad. It's clear that the 9/11 hijackers had meticulously practiced taking over planes in midair, killing pilots and subduing crew and passengers quickly, etc. They knew what they were doing. This cannot be learned in a U.S. flight school or practiced in a Jersey City apartment. They must have practiced on an actual plane. Eyewitnesses have reported seeing armed men practicing maneuvers on a Boeing 737 at Salman Pak. ABC several weeks ago had an Iraqi defector showing a drawing of the plane and describing the camp.
Osama bin Laden may have put up the money for 9/11, but he sure as hell did not have a Boeing 737 in a cave in Afghanistan for these guys to practice in!

I think he's a whimp. He doesn't have the will to power to exercise the military options available to him. He was against bombing Beirut
He was against bombing Libya
He was against war with Iraq
He was against the current options being exercised right now--he wants more 'diplomacy'
SCREW YOU COLON POWELL, YOU SUCK

Thanks for responding with even more details and observations/opinions. I did mention the training of the hijacker pilots at Salman Pak in my commentary attached right under the article at the very beginning when I posted it. Here is what I wrote :
"2. Behind WTC/Pentagon Attacks on 9/11/2001. Three hijackers pilots were aided by Iraq. Hijacker pilots trained at Salman Pak in Iraq on how to use box cutters to hijack planes (this comes directly from Adm Woolsey on ABC Nightline)"

Over oil? Right. Afghanistan is just overflowing. Al Queda and Saddam at each others throats? Huh? Not hardly.
