The problem is that rap and jazz are not musical. I just don't get it. I've tried, I just don't get it. The people who say they get it, are the same ones that can't clap to the music, or dance in time. They're music lovers, for sure, they just don't know why. ...oh, well...

Let me take rap out of this for a second - are you really saying that people who "get" jazz have no sense of rhythm, and that they love music but don't know anything about it? And jazz is "not musical"? Nah...couldn't be. (I'm a professional musician also - 25 years.)

If you're wondering if it's you, no offense, but it is.

There's a differnce between jazz and real music played jazzed up. I can put ANYONE on piano in a jazz band and have them pound out ANYTHING and if they looked like they meant to do it, most 'jazz' fans would eat it up.

I doubt you'd want to compare your resume to mine. I did't say you shouldn't like jazz, I just said it's not musical. It makes no musical sense.
