What are the best jazz albums?

my choices in no particular order:

miles davis - kind of blue
charles mingus - black saint and the sinner lady
john coltrane - a love supreme
duke ellington - the webster-blanton years
the quintet - live at massey hall
sonny rollins - saxophone colossus
bill evans - live at the village vanguard

You can sure copy alot of nice sounding chords, too bad they don't go together like that. Give that same list to any musician, and they will look at you like the nut you are. How many beats does each chord get? Is the second letter in your list there the bass note? So there's a D7 bass note...lol Almost all of those chords could have a number of different bass notes that could be used in certain applications. Your example doesn't explain the application. It looks like you copied a bunch of chords you think are complicated and put them in a list. Those chords are not complicated. You trying to impress me with them isn't complicated either. I understand. You own music books. I get it.

I could write chords to songs all day, and you wouldn't have a clue what I'm writing. When you ask such assenine questions, try to give enough information for someone to at least try to figure out what planet you're on. I have a freind with a book like you bought, but he can't play either....
