Heisman "voting" is a farce. Crouch is a very good option quarterback, but (as a passer) he's mediocre at best, as illustrated in the Colorado game. I find it strange that most Heisman voters would give the trophy to a QB who will never play that position at the NFL level. Crouch is a terrific athlete, but he won't even make an NFL practice squad as a QB.....

yet another uninformed and ridiculous statement...you're just trolling aren't you?
If trolling means telling the truth in a crowded theater that's been sold out for weeks, then yes. I am. Otherwise I am just laying a careful eye on the University of Nebraska and its history of criminal entanglements.

From the Gators, much appreciated!

A sophmore has NEVER won it...

They picked the worst of the finalists.

Gators. 5 points and we're national champs. UGH. Grossman will get it next year. He should have been a 3 time winner. Now he'll only get two shots.

You're right, there's nothing wrong with playing in the CFL. There is something wrong about giving the award for the best player in college football to a player that isn't even the best at his POSITION let alone overall. Carr from Fresno State or Grossman deserved the award more than Crouch did from a QB standpoint.

Get off the Ahman Green fetish. I was talking about your remark regarding teams that won't draft Nebraska players because of the discipline problems.

To be honest, Brock Berlin will more than likely be a better QB than Grossman in the NFL. You're probably asking who Brock Berlin is. He is also a sophmore QB at Florida and plays back-up for Grossman. He was the most highly recruited and best QB coming out of HS two years ago. Only at UF can such a good QB be second string!

That was Oklahoma State not Nebraska! One of the Washington Redskins went public that he had received a four-year degree from Okie State and couldn't read (Dexter Manley I believe!). I have never heard that about Nebraska!

Last time they played UM, as I recall, they were beaten pretty severely.
The Gators this yr are hardly a top-ten team.

No discussion of corrupt programs would be complete with the biggest losers of all: FSU. That's right Free Shoes University, Dillards-It's not like he shot the president, Intentionally hurting other players, letting guys out of jail to practice...you just can't find a more corrupt and pathetic program.

Now Crouch can look forward to the same stellar NFL career as Scott Frost.

I really should know better than to get into these kinds of arguments. This is kind of like when Dan Quayle had the awful nerve to say something negative about the show Murphy Brown. It's one thing to insult a person's politics. But when you insult their TV show or sports team, that's worse than spreading rumors about their mother's sexual habits.

He'll only get one as he's gone after next year....thank goodness.
23-20...;-)

FSU, as much as I hate that school, has indeed paid a heavy price. Their corruption isn't sytematic the way it is in Nebraska. Nebraska athletics is akin to a criminal enterprise and expands far beyond the usual suspects.

Grossman had his best game last week in a losing cause against Tennessee. If his line could have held out Tennessee even half the time, Florida would have won big. Wait till next year and the next! Crouch got it because he was a senior and Grossman only a sophomore.
