Home? Lincoln, Nebraska.

He is able to leave for the NFL after his third year.
Florida's a great team for college QB's, but not much in terms of making pro players. I doubt he'll jump.

Crouch is such a good running back - He *even* plays quarterback.

OK I am lazy so I ripped this off from ESPN.
"...ran for 1,115 yards and 18 touchdowns, passed for 1,510 yards and seven scores and even caught a 63-yard TD pass in a big win over Oklahoma. He's one of only three major college quarterbacks to run for 3,000 yards and pass for 4,000 yards in a career.
Not quite the situation you seemed to be trying to paint. If this

I'm not a Nebraska fan, but Crouch is a STUD. He never slides, or goes out of bounds. He hits somebody EVERY play. His all around running and passing make him a superb Heismann pick. The rest of those guys were wooses.

Crouch is a Looooooooooser!
He will never be an NFL starter. Nebraska.....
How will they ever win a National title again without Rev. (yeah, right) Tom Osborne getting their star players out of jail???

I guess you can say the same thing about people who wear seat belts. But the bottom line is heros and people that dont wear seatbelts are short lived.

Excellent post. I was expecting an argument of some kind, but nothing quite does it like just being called an asshole. I know I'm really bad. I'm supposed to worship the institution of college football like it's God and questioning anybody's views on a political forum is really out of line.
As for the rampant criminality of Nebraska players, why should I take the time to prove something that is common knowledge? I've read more articles than you can shake a stick at detailing the criminal acts of Cornhusker players. Do a Yahoo! search and see for yourself. Believe what you want, I've wasted enough time on this thread.
It's really great to deal with people who post nothing of substance while accusing others (correctly or not) of doing the same.

Actually, it is Rep. Tom Osborne Now
BTW his Dr. title is from a Phd. in Educational Psych., not Divinity.
How many Heisman winners have been NFL Stars/Super Stars - not many.

Did Flutie throw more picks than TD's? Look in the dictionary the word objectivity.

I agree with Roy Williams being the best player in college football this year! I watched him game after game (have season tickets) and he is an unbelieveable football player. Bob Stoops said that he is the best defensive back he has ever witnessed in college football! Now if we had just had Josh Heupel back, we would have been in the Rose Bowl! Can't wait to see our Freshman Redshirt Quarterback next year! Have seen enough of our current quarterback to last awhile! Wish you guys had beat Colorado!

And GatorNation comes in off their ledges to whine about a Heisman conspiracy and threaten to sue, while attempting lame shots at FSU. The Spurrier influence runs deep.

Some reminders, Nebraska leads the nation in Academic All-Americans Thanks for those comments. There are some real Nebraska bashers. Which makes Eric winning the Heisman all the more sweet! ;)

Read "Pros and Cons: The Criminals That Play in the NFL." That book will tell you all about Nebraska Cornhusker felons that have moved on to the NFL to continue their crime sprees.
To: Fury
No, he is a good
running QB. I am a Florida fan, but I think that Joey Harrington is the best QB out of the lot.
It is also ashame that he is not going to get to play for a national championship. UO is getting the screws put to them by the BCS.
I say that we FREEP the NCAA for a playoff system...Hmmm...we may have to think about that???
Is anyone with me?

Heisman "voting" is a farce. Crouch is a very good option quarterback, but (as a passer) he's mediocre at best, as illustrated in the Colorado game. I find it strange that most Heisman voters would give the trophy to a QB who will never play that position at the NFL level. Crouch is a terrific athlete, but he won't even make an NFL practice squad as a QB..... That's because the Heisman is not about being in the NFL. Never has been, never will be.

Should have been David Carr from Fresno State. 4000 yards plus, they beat Colorado and Wisconsin.

Hey, I didn't call you a name, yet.
I simply asked you to name one NFL team that refuses to draft Nebraska players.
