Don't remember the movie, but:
Granddaughter: "Grandpa, if you had to do anything over, what would it be?"
Grandfather: "I would have taken better care of my teeth."

Any of R. Lee Ermey's lines from Full Metal Jacket, with Jack Nicholson's dialogue from A Few Good Men a distant second.

You need to get out and see more movies.

I have watched that movie (Cool Hand Luke) so many times and the last few times I have listened as closely as possible, and it seems like Strother Martin actually says:
"What we have here is,(pause, emphasis) failure to communcate."
I agree the diction with the affected accent renders the passage apart from the written dialogue which drops the "a", and the "i" in communicate is lost while it sounds more like camyunekate; but then, I lost over 40% of my hearing on the rifle team in the Army National Guard.

A few more of my favorites:
"You've got to remember that these are just simple farmers. These are people of the land. The common clay of the new West. You know... morons." -- from Blazing Saddles
"I'm telling you this guy is protected from up on high by the Prince of Darkness." -- from The Usual Suspects
Albrecht: You, don't move!
Eric Draven: I thought cops always said, "Freeze!"
Albrecht: Well, I say "don't move." Move, Snow White, and you're dead!
Eric Draven: And I say I am dead... and I move. -- from The Crow

Cheech & Chong? (Maybe, I don't remember those days well...)

Or did I get that one scrambled? Bob T.
