Three out of four Americans are happier to have President Bush in charge of the war against terrorism than Al Gore, according to a straightforward question posed in a new poll.
Seventy-six percent of respondents said they prefer having Mr. Bush lead the war, while 15 percent said they would have preferred a hypothetical "President Gore."

A New Poll? I wish there could be a poll of the people who watched 60 minutes II last night and caught the Charles Grodin piece on flying. The way he bashed air travel and how he put on two Black United airlines people in a very non flattering way.( parts of commercials ) The same day Bush was In Orlando to talk UP air travel and tourism in general. Well, actually less than half of us did. Thank God for the electoral college.
If it would have been a straight vote we would have had Gore in charge.
