The Official White House Christmas card. Inside, it reads, "Thy face, Lord, do I seek. I believe that I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living,'' reads the inscription from Psalm 27." The theme for this year's display is 'Home for the Holidays'.

WOW what a Tree!
Thanks rintense
Christmas seems to have a much more wholesome theme this year in the Whitehouse.

Needless to say, I know a certain little guy who's MOST IMPRESSED with that gingerbread house!!!!!!

Last year the then Gov. of Texas sent out a beautiful Christmas card and it included a picture of the whole family. I can't tell, but it looks as though this year it has no pics. I looks classy, but I hope they will go back to putting their family (with the girls) on there some year in the future.

All I can say is ***WOW***!
Oh...and i'm absolutely positively blessed by the White House CHRISTmas card!

The photo on the card appears to be a washed photo. I don't know the exact process but it alters the pic enough to give it a washed and bit wavey effect (or would that be affect?). Very pretty.

What a georgeous tree! I can hardly wait for the WH tour. I wonder if all that food is for the media?
The WH Chef really did himself proud with that magnificent gingerbread Whitehouse.

What wonderful photos of the President and First Lady! Beautiful!
But it's the card and the verse from Psalms that has me in tears. To have once again a President who loves God and says so in so many different ways. Christianity is under attack in this country and around the world, so this card with this verse is such a vital message to everyone.
Also, thanks for the photos of the Cheney's. They are such a treasure for this nation, BOTH of them. Just as BOTH President Bush and Laura are gifts to us from God.
The tree epitomizes the best of Christmas trees. I've always thought of them as gaudy ladys flaunting themselves and giving us so much pleasure once a year! LOL! The White House Christmas tree is stately and serene, but still all-done-up and glittering!

Wow, great pics. I love the Christmas card and the way First Lady Laura has had the While House decorated to celebrate Christ's Birthday. The Oval office really looks nice, I did not care for the decor of the previous administration.
