I got a card from Dubya and Laura today and it's like the one posted here. No family picture.
No Barney or Spot.
I'm sure Spot has been good but I'm wondering if Santa Paws will see fit to visit Barney this year. (I love him!)

YES! President Bush will be in Orlando tomorrow. I decided not to go because it was a mad house when I went to see him during the election. We had tickets but just made it in the building by the skin of our teeth! The line to get in stretched for what seemed like 5 miles.
President Bush even had to tell us to quiet down at one point! I'll never forget it! :-) We were stomping our feet, yelling, whistling and clapping and after a few minutes (you know how he like to keep things on schedule) he gave us a stern look and said, "Settle down now!" LOL!!

The B. Walters / Laura Bush WH Christmas Tour, followed by Walters' interview with the President and First Lady, is on ABC this Wednesday (20/20) at 10 PM, with the usual adjustment for Central Time Zone.

Oooooooooo, thanks so much rintense! Most excellent pictures today! Even my hubby was impressed with the gingerbread house. He's right behind me building his model train again, so he really appreciates the "little things." :-)

ROLF! I liked mine from last year and hope to get my own from this year. I think pics of the doggies would be swell in the future too. Better yet - the whole family with doggies included would suit me just fine!

How were you so fortunate to recive a Christmas card from Dubya and the First Lady?

effect (or would that be affect?). Iffect. That's the spelling you're looking for. Not effect. Not affect. But Iffect. Trust me on this one.

The tour of the White House will be on channel 7 (ABC) on Wednesday night at 10 PM EST. Aren't we having a virtual pajama party? I'm ready, right down to having my Hot chocolate with marshmallows sitting on the counter, and new tape in the VCR.

Ifeqckt Ha! And she speaks German!!!!!!

...but I'm wondering if Santa Paws will see fit to visit Barney this year. What a way you have with words! Oh yeah, and I am green with envy that you got a Christmas card from the Bushes!

Thank you! This is my favorite Dose in a long time...such pretty pictures!
I never knew they put up a tree in the Oval Office itself...is that customary or another new (good) Laura idea?
Meanwhile, as I write this Susan Etheridge is on TV actually arguing that Santa Clause is a religious symbol! ROFLMAO!

Great pictures tonight! I got to see a little of the video that Laura did on the news tonight! She is so pretty in her red suit!!!!! I love Christmas decorations, and the WH looks like a winter wonderland!

Thank you for the beautiful shots. The President and Mrs. Bush are a real class act. Thank God they are in our White House this year. Christmas will have a special meaning knowing that.

Thanks for confirming the time! Can't wait to see it!

I had to change the channel when Susan started that ridiculous banter about Santa! I was about to go ballistic! How stupid can liberals get? Santa is NOT a religious symbol by a long shot!
"Hes' a symbol of Christmas isn't he? Remember separation of Church and State!"
What an idiot! (you can see why I turned her off! LOL)

Wow!! That Christmas tree is lovely and the Gingerbread House is outstanding. I especially liked the tree in the Oval Office. My husband even loved the pictures, and his comment about the GB House was, "Better than anything Hillary ever had."
Rintense, such great pictures. Thank you for all you do.
