Actually there is a forgotten President AFTER George Washington. I am referring to post Civil War President, Grover T. Rutherford. Although largely forgotten today, this little known Republican President instituted Civil Service reform and was aligned with the Mugwump faction of the party.

Interesting read indeed.
Sooooo...I suppose I should start calling X42...X59? (although X69 would have sounded more appropriate, but I digress) ;-)

Thanks, Luis. Great read and certainly food for thought.
These Patriots set an example that many Americans seem to not know or care about re: the price of FReedom and Liberty.

Read the Articles of Confederation, then the Articles of Confederation for the Confederated States of America, then compare them to the massive European Union Constitution.

Although, they were not the Presidents of our country, I don’t think they have been forgotten. They were Presidents of the Continental Congress.
The first and third president, Peyton Randolph was married to Elizabeth Harrison, sister of Governor Benjamin Harrison (1726-1791) who was a signer of the Declaration of Independence and father of our 9th President, who was only in office for one month. He also had another cousin named Peyton who was married to the sister of President Harrison.
He was also a first cousin of President Thomas Jefferson and his nephew Edmund Randolph was our first Attorney General.
