Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I would think it would be quite difficult for Saddam to order such a strike if every molecule in his body has suddenly become gaseous.

Frankly, I'd much rather Saddam launch a CBW or nuke missile attack against Israel than use terrorists to do the same to the US.
Not because I have any desire to see Israeli deaths, but because I believe the retaliation will be much quicker and much more decisive.

There was "speculation" that the move to oust Saddam during the Gulf War was stopped due to the threat by Saddam to fire Chemical and Biological weapons at Israel; which would have resulted in severe nuclear devastation of Iraq.

Saddam thought that he and his would survive and he would be able to claim victory over Israel for all Arabs who, also, survived.
