All of our important payments: Monthly donation to our church, monthly education donations for our grand kids, monthly donations to our other charities and our monthly mortgage payment are auto payments.
Once you commit to these payments, budget them and set up an auto monthly payment, life is simple. Actually we do it with our utility bills and other regular payments. We have a monthly auto escrow account to set money each month aside in a savings account for quarterly taxes and various insurance payments. The bills come due, and the money is there!
