In my culture, there are two sides to a quarter.

Well, in my counterculture there are for people in a quartet, so there! (I'm still a bit confused though when a quartet is called something like Dave Brubeck Quartet. Does that mean Dave Brubeck and four others, or Dave Brubeck and three others?)

$5 a month, seems to me the 'magic number.' In fact I am ahead of that.

Does anyone know the basic statistics of how many people actually use this board? how many are just lurkers? I've heard numbers ranging as large as 100,000 a month... is this so? I do notice, that every poll totals about 4000 people.

I believe that everyone should help, at least the ones who want to post. If you just want to lurk, then it should be a choice. or not?

Maybe everyone should get like a six month trial (for posters only), and then it should be charged the 5 month.

There should be happy formula that should take care of the finances here. I am sure it's annoying for everyone to ask and be asked for money so often.
