Who should be Time magazine's "Man of the Year" ?
The count of votes for Osama bin Laden is: 23.25%
The count of votes for George W. Bush is: 26.34%
The count of votes for Tony Blair is: 3.60%
The count of votes for Donald Rumsfeld is: 2.57%
The count of votes for Passengers of United Airlines Flight #93 is: 43.62%
The count of votes for Barbara Olson is: 0.62%
Seems like Barbara Olsen should be at least up there with Tony Blair.

Well, given that Adolf Hitler won it in '36 my money's on OBL, but my heart's on the passengers who fought back. Let's Roll!

Depends - remember those old frontier photographs of the bad guy with his hands crossed and inside a casket standing in front of the general store?
Brings up all kinds of quite satisfying cover pages for Osama, the late man of the year.

I know a person who wants to be... Every day at a TV studio you can see him arrive,
Stands 5-foot-5, weighs 145
Pig John, Pig John, Pig Bad John!
No one seems to know where John calls home
He a maverick of his party and stands all alone
Pig John, Pig John, Pig Bad John!
But he did take some of that Keating dough
And that makes him a good RINO
Pig John, Pig John, Pig Bad John!
Some folks said he came from Vietnam,
Where a his little Skyhawk met a mighty SAM
And the crash and thunder of the resulting wham
Sent an admirals son to the Hanoi "slam"
Pig John, Pig John, Pig Bad John!
Then one day on the Hill all hell broke loose
Amid the pork and the spending of the golden goose
And sent the Demos scrambling for the last ca-boose
To pull the wool over the eyes of the big tax ruse
Pig John, Pig John, Pig Bad John!
Then the heave and call of "campaign finance"
Put John on the side of their non-compliance
And the GOP crawled from that reform pit
Leaving just one behind, still in it
Pig John, Pig John, Pig Bad John!
With amendments and debate they started back in
But no one could decide really where to begin
Then one of them cried lets just let it end!
And thats what finally was inked by the pen
Poor John, Poor John, Poor, poor John!
Well, they never again opened that worthless bill
Just put a marker on the side of the Hill< br>So all could read and understand
At the bottom of the Senate lies a Pig, Pig Man
Pig John

Time magazine gave it to Hitler once, so I suppose they'll choose bin Laden.

I believe I'd vote for Donald Rumsfeld. Close second to Dubya and Guiliani.

Although I find the heroism displayed by those passengers on that United flight to be inspiring; I have to go with G. W. Bush on this one and any other choice is really not plausible. This man has grown in stature from the first day of this crisis. He has been calm, controlled and focused on the job at hand. He has handled both foreign countries and the American public well, leaving both with the assurance of someone who knows what he is doing and is surrounded by people who are also extremely competent.
That being said; I am figuring Time will go with bin Laden.

They'll make it a group award and give it to the firemen and policeman and rescue workers.

Rudy Giuliani or GW Bush. Wow, had to go back and look over that list. Guiliani is not even on the list. What's up with that? bin Laden on the list; but not Guilliani?
