What is the fastest you have ever driven? (NOT ADVOCATING IT)

I published this a while back, but it was deleted.
So....
What is the fastest you have ever drive? I had my little Honda over 100 mph near the PA-WV border.
I do not condone speeding, and I am sure FR does nor either.

Years ago (1973)I had my RX-3 doing 125-130 on I-10 in West Texas. But I got busted outside Fort Stockton doing 80 (I'd slowed down because I finally saw another car). Beautiful art deco courthouse--right out of a movie, high ceilings w/fans, Coke machine in the lobby and all. Judge Delton J. Yarborough presiding, took my fine(cash, of course) and made change from a cigar box full of twenties in the top right drawer of his desk. (no sense bothering with paperwork.) Then he suggested a good diner for lunch, if I wasn't in too much of a hurry to get back on the road.
Thought I'd walked onto the set of To Kill a Mockingbird~

120mph in a Jaguar 340 in England.
Slightly less in a Dodge Stealth in the U.S.
Scary, sphincter-tightening stuff.

I buried the needle (105 mph) on my '78 Cutlass on the way up the I-210 bridge in Lake Charles, LA in 1986, I buried it a quarter of the way up the bridge and I know I was going a good bit faster on the way down. I was teasing my date because she hates high bridges. I nearly had to dig her finger nails out of my kneecap.
A year later I was caught in a traffic jam on top of the same bridge. After twenty minutes I got out to see how long the hold up would be. I nearly passed out when I walked over one of the spacers between the bridge sections (on nearly a two mile long bridge) and looked down and realized what 200 feet of nothing under you looks like. Me and my buddy quickly got back in the car.

That's one of the most impressive things I've read on this thread.

Wow, you pulled this thread up almost 5 years to the day after it had died out. How did you find it?

I do not know. The speedometer in the Chevy is blank beyond 85. The needle has been in the stops, but what this actually represents is unknown. The 105 mile trip didn't take long at all, about 40 minutes. Passed a few pickup trucks and cars who were also pedal to the metal and somewhat annoyed at being passed.

I went 155mph in a rusted out 1989 Nissan Sentra surf mobile on the North Shore of Oahu. It almost blew my board off the roof on the way to the beach.
(I am kidding of course-there is no way that POS could get past about 65mph- and on the North Shore, no need)

Your Bugatti Veyron wouldn't get out of third gear anywhere in Hawaii. It would get to the other end of the road quickly, though.

120 mph in a 1973 Ford Maverick with a V8 that a little old lady (literally) had owned and only drove 8,000 miles before I bought it. Front end started weaving and I got scared so I throttled it down. Never knew why the front end was weaving until teenagers told me about 30 years later the front end was getting too much air under it. Was even more scared after coming to know how close I came to scattered-all-over-the place death. Never again.

105 MPH in an Army Econoline van on the Autobahn, somewhere between Neu Ulm and Stuttgart at about 3 AM on a Sunday morning. It was full of troops; if an MP had stopped me I'd have gone to jail. I had duty Sunday morning and I wanted to get some sleep.

Our VW Bus hit 74 mph once on the Autobahn when it got caught in the slipstream of a Jaguar XKE.
