If you were to accept the cognitive dissonance impacts from the campaign, you would have to discard some deep rooted beliefs about the campaign. It is aparent that my bringing these facts to your attention has forced you to strengthen your belief in the campaign and make you even more millitant. I can see it happening before my eyes.

Why should I accept your idea that cognitive dissonance would result from viewing the pictures, when you've contradicted this idea of dissonance yourself?

You have a problem.

Which is your real opinion?

As you yourself said (in post 103, up above to danneskjold)

You must think Pro-Choicers are pretty stupid if they have not thought about and can not imagine what an abortion byproduct looks like.

If this quote of yours indicates your REAL opinion about the pictures, then you'll have to drop your other argument that cognitive dissonance will cause viewers to turn more strongly pro-choice.

According to your own words, the viewers would already have dealt with the dissonance before they viewed the pictures.

Maybe that contradiction is a result of my own cognitive dissonance. Maybe I am a prime facia example of the very cognitive dissonance we are talking about.

The would certainly be ironic for both of us.
