Sorry, if the only book you have read on the subject is Posner's then you are not qualified to make such a judgement. Posner has been debunked by quite a few people who know a lot more than he.

This topic long ago drifted into the realm of religious belief. Like any heretic Posner of course would be attacked by the conspiracy buffs. If what he wrote is a pack of lies and errors I am sorry to have fallen for his mendacious scribblings. I am just glad for the moment I am not in the Oliver Stone camp.

Attempts at debunking Posner have been made. They mostly fail and they don't address the central issues. For the most part, the Posner debunkers have been debunked.
