The only "bandwagon" over here is the one led by Harry Potter harlequins. Don't you have a complete Webster's Dictionary -- oh I forgot, you are in the Old World: "Harry ... masculine name ... n. Satan, the Devil, usually Old Harry"? Are you saying that our dictionaries across the pond are more complete. "Old Nick" meaning Satan or the Devil too? you . . . . are . . . right . . . . it is right there in Webster's Dictionary too as well as "nick -- to cheat, trick, defraud, conquer by deceit". It fits. Thanks -- Old Nick and Old Harry both are "nick"names for "Satan, the Devil" -- the old trickster hiding behind many names. Did you know that Old Harry and Old Nick are names for the same entity or is Webster's Dictionary telling you something you did not know? e

Oh My God it all makes perfect sense know I see it so clearly.

So Harry Nugent from Greyfriars the hero of the Greyfriars series set in a boarding school where so many of the Characters in Hogwarts seem to resemble may also of had satanic connections.

Harry is a good old fashion English boys name. The Harry Potter series is very old fashion, steam trains, the school train, boarding school, beaks an all that very 1940s, apart from the magic it could be the Greyfriars series written all over again

WoodKirl to me seems very pagonistic why such a name

Cheers Tony

The sad thing is you probably believe some of the gibberish you spout. I suppose Prince Harry is Satan too.
