My tool COULD use some more treatment...

Always keep it lubricated. Tools last longer when well oiled. The more you use a tool, the better it works -- and the more proficient you are at using it. Tools should never be placed anyplace too cold. Make sure to store your tool in a warm, dark place on a regular basis.

Thanks for this post, Laz. I had always heard that you suppossed to keep your tool in a cool dry place.

Explains why they won't let me take the tour of the city morgue anymore.

I'm with you Laz. No point in sliding down a slippery slope when you can just jump over the edge of the cliff.

Proper tool maintenance will insure long use. Don't abuse your tool.
