Tools should never be placed anyplace too cold. Make sure to store your tool in a warm, dark place on a regular basis.

Thanks for this post, Laz. I had always heard that you suppossed to keep your tool in a cool dry place.

Explains why they won't let me take the tour of the city morgue anymore.

You should never take your tool out, unless you are at home. No sense in letting some little hussy get ahold of it. If you do, you might lose your tool outright. On the other hand, you might get your tool dirty and they are prone to corrosion if misused. Don't tempt yourself -- just keep your tool where it belongs -- in your pants pocket.
