I could really like Texas if is wasn't for the weather. It's to hot and sticky for me.

Honeychile, the heat and humidity ain't nothin at all. It's the bugs that'll keep the real Yankees out. I took the garbage out one fine spring day in San Antone and a bug like to almost stepped on me. That was back in the Carter years, or was it Reagan? Seems like the bugs are even bigger still in Texas than they usta be.

Okay, Since I grew up in Chicago, I'm a Yankee, I guess (though all my family came over from Sweden & Germany well after the civil war), and as I just posted, I got to live in Texas for a few months. I loved it! But you are right, the bugs are AWFUL! I tried to keep the apartment clean, but one morning in mid-summer, I found a, I swear to God, a 2 inch long cockroach IN THE REFRIGERATOR!!! And, get this, it was still ALIVE! God, amazing. Guess everying is big in Texas...... :)
