Just now on ABC newscast Peter (alias - Dick) Jennings had the temerity to actually go to Big D - Dallas, Texas and get a 'man-on-the-street' opinion of what Dallasites think of the world in general.
Dubya got the expected high marks all around and then Jennings asked one man what Dallas residents think of things and the man replies:
"Well, nobody like YOU!"
Right in Jennings weasily little face!!
Jennings spun it to mean that folks were mad at media in general, but I guarantee you this guy meant Peter Jennings personally!
Man, what a treat.
I guess ABC wont be planning any more visits to Dalllas anytime soon. BEEEEEAAUUUUTIFFFULLLLL!!

I have a dream...where trials in the court of public, held by the media, would be required to offer EQUAL REPRESENTATION or be spat upon by the victimized public.

Spreading a little "early" Christmas joy.
To Petah: Well, nobody HERE likes you either!!! Hoping MRC or some other media watchdog group got a clip. Enjoy.

Yes, I think he is our own Okiedust. See #96. He probably would have mentioned the exchange if it were him.

Man on the street:
"Well, nobody like YOU!" Peter Jennings: Well, there you have it America. Another man who didn't express his support for the Administration's policies.
BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Texas also gave us LBJ and Dan Rather. Unfortunately, we in Texas also gave the world Paul Begala!!!!!!!!!

The public chastising of Jennings is being discussed in the ABC news bulletin board
here.

Having grown up in Galveston and having lived in Houston for 12 years (now living in K.C.) I would have to rephrase that. Houston ain't Texas. I love Texas and go back every chance I get, but can't handle Houston.

In Texican that's: Yer either fer us or agin us ;^>
What are the chances of any freinds, neighbors, relatives, or acquaintances that may have taped the show? I would give most anything to see the clip and spread it around for all to enjoy.

It would make my day if Texas would cancel its contract with the USA and secede. I would join you. Until then, Texans will have to earn their wings daily.
