The only thing that upsets me about Harry Potter is the author. I can not say anything about the movies/books as I have not seen them or read them so I will not give an opinion on that. She was quoted as saying something to the affect of Jesus Christ is a hoax and at the end of the world He will kneel down and suck the c$%k of our dark lord. I wish I still had the article. I think she said that to the London Times. However, I grew up watching Wizard of Oz and such and I turned out normal(I think).

Stop spreading URBAN LEGENDS. Next you will tell us that Tommy Hilfiger doesn't want blacks to wear his clothes and that Ernie of Sesame Street will die of AIDS.

She never said that; it was a spoof from The Onion.

The article is at The Onion. It's a spoof. JK Rowling didn't really say those things.

If Rowling, based upon the quote you give, is all that upsets you, then you have nothing to be upset about. The quote is from an aticle in *The Onion*. Thus the one thing about it that we know is true is that it isn't true.

You have GOT to be kidding. I know you're not joking. but that HAD to be a joke.
If not, I'd like to be around for the end of the world to see what SHE will be doing when she is on her knees before the one True Lord.

Uh huh...That's funny. All I can find are some overly nutty statements on a few fundie sites CLAIMING that the author spoke as you report. However there is no such actual source of the story in any of these claims, which leads me to believe that it's the handiwork of a bunch Chicken Littles, running around screaming that Harry Potter is satanic for lack of having anything better to do with their time.
