My Fellow Freeper's,

I can usually stand on my own in an argument based on FACT and not FICTION. If someone wants to poke about stories that are " media made" or " urban legend" , then that is their own deal. I for one like to deal with facts. Common sense. So you would think basing an argument on fact's and not opinion or any of the above things stated above would win the argument hand's down right? Wrong.

This goes beyond ignorance. This is a new breed of ignorance in my "opinion" and I feel that as a Free Republic we should once and for all address this issue that faces our country this very day. Bottom line: Does the majority of the Muslim/ Islamic world want the United States dead? Does the majority hate the United States?

Remember facts are the key here. We can go from the Taliban to Iraq to Syria to the PLO. All have described their hate with no shame or hiding it. They burn our flag and spit on it. They burn dummies of President George W Bush. They declare a Jihad against us. We have students and even everyday citizens doing the same thing here on our own soil. Hating America for every reason on why they are allowed here in the end of it all. Allowed to attend our schools, attend the same stores we shop at, pump the same gas they need to drive the cars or busses made sometimes by the very countries they despise. The same can be said for airplanes, trains, and boats as well.

What is one to do when one is faced with someone saying that you are wrong for thinking that "the majority of Muslims/Arabs hate the U.S. . When you are told that it is more like 1% of them hate us. Well, as you can imagine I disagree and use the FACTS to lay it out. It never seems to get through their skulls though unless they have lost a chunk of their own family and then want to issue a fatwah against us or them or whoever. Who can keep score for who is pissed at who?

So my question is this to all of you reading this. Based on the facts and numbers...do the majority of Muslims/Arabs in this world hate this country? Should we now at this time really take the step towards filtering out this country and pointing out the traitor's and making their lives so miserable on a daily basis that they move to another country?

I say yes.

Your post was clumsy attempt to discredit the initial poster and with it, the strong circumstantial evidence which supports the charge of a lack of allegiance to America by Muslim America.

BTW, part of the reason for the support of the USA in IRAN is because they hate the Taliban so much. Muslims have sects the same as Christianity does. The Sunnies and the Shiites are very competitive and dislike each other. I think that a large segment of the Middle Eastern population is illiterate...in some places as high as 70% illiteracy. These people know only what they are told, and they believe Mullahs who are so illiterate that they carry around Korans that they have never even read. Is it any wonder that the Koran is not understood well by some segments of Islam?

The Islamic fanatics are the biggest threat to civilization in the world today. We are told that about 15% of the world's Muslims support what Osama bin Laden is doing. If true, that is over 100 million people. Frankly, I think the number is higher. Islam is a gutter religion and has been the source of more present and past violence and insurrection in the world than any other religious teaching.

It was founded on violent, false teaching, including twisting of the Old Testament into a pack of lies such as the lie that Ismael was the chosen son of Abraham, not Isaac. It was founded by a murderer and liar.

Islam presents Jews and Christians with a clear choice. Either they accept the Bible as truth or accept the word of a 7th Century barbarian who claimed to have the REAL truth revealed to him.

In this sick world of moral relativism, I proclaim there is a truth. Someone is lying. Someone is worshipping a false God of lies and someone is not.

Let's judge those religions by their fruits. What is the fruit of Islam? Which religion forms the basis for the mass slaughter of innocents, WORLDWIDE, in 2001? Which of these religions forces intolerance upon societies in which it is predominate?

I don't have to tolerate a religion of murder and violence with a 1300 year history of barbarism. Nor does anyone else.

BTW, you are also wrong about Middle Easterners signing up to be in the military, CIA, FBI etc. And this is a big part of the problem. Many of those who have, and those who look just like you and I, have their true allegiance with fundamentalist Islam. Boy! would I ever rather know that none of them had access to our deepest secrets and technology!

Wow. Never did i believe such ignorance existed until i saw your post. And then i read some of the replies. I wasn't sure whether to laugh (it's simply comical that 'the greatest country on earth' holds some of the greatest buffoons on earth) or cry.

Not only is your entire post 100% correct, you forgot to mention that islam teaches that they are to live a life sans vice, (no drinking, porn, etc...) and yet they are the worlds largest producer of opium slated for the illegal heroin street trade. It really irkes me that we are not making more of the talibans drug cartel. They are qick to condem hollywood and such but see no problem with supplying drugs and illegal arms trafficing.

If I may add one thing to your dead-on-right post- IF the 'Muslim majority' decries and rejects the UGLY face a 'minority' has put on their religion, is it not their FIRST and most important responsibility to purge their religion of the extremists who slander it?
Why aren't the 'good Muslims' cleaning house? The Muslim 'face' the world now sees is brutal, ugly, homicidal, suicidal and evil. Unless the 'good' Muslims reject and refute it, it is right for the world to judge them all by the ugly face of brutal terrorism.
I believe it is the TRUE face of Islam and if the 'good' Muslims can benefit from the actions of extremists while keeping an innocent silence, they will do so. The comparisons to Nazi Germany are obvious. SO many Germans stood by and cheered Hitler(in public or in private) when they thought they could conquer the world. When his Third Reich was destroyed,suddenly there were NO pro-Hitler citizens to be found.
If the silence of the 'good Muslim' leadership and citizens is not to be construed as sympathy for Islamic terrorists, it smells- at the very least- like hopeful opportunism.
