My Fellow Freeper's,

I can usually stand on my own in an argument based on FACT and not FICTION. If someone wants to poke about stories that are " media made" or " urban legend" , then that is their own deal. I for one like to deal with facts. Common sense. So you would think basing an argument on fact's and not opinion or any of the above things stated above would win the argument hand's down right? Wrong.

This goes beyond ignorance. This is a new breed of ignorance in my "opinion" and I feel that as a Free Republic we should once and for all address this issue that faces our country this very day. Bottom line: Does the majority of the Muslim/ Islamic world want the United States dead? Does the majority hate the United States?

Remember facts are the key here. We can go from the Taliban to Iraq to Syria to the PLO. All have described their hate with no shame or hiding it. They burn our flag and spit on it. They burn dummies of President George W Bush. They declare a Jihad against us. We have students and even everyday citizens doing the same thing here on our own soil. Hating America for every reason on why they are allowed here in the end of it all. Allowed to attend our schools, attend the same stores we shop at, pump the same gas they need to drive the cars or busses made sometimes by the very countries they despise. The same can be said for airplanes, trains, and boats as well.

What is one to do when one is faced with someone saying that you are wrong for thinking that "the majority of Muslims/Arabs hate the U.S. . When you are told that it is more like 1% of them hate us. Well, as you can imagine I disagree and use the FACTS to lay it out. It never seems to get through their skulls though unless they have lost a chunk of their own family and then want to issue a fatwah against us or them or whoever. Who can keep score for who is pissed at who?

So my question is this to all of you reading this. Based on the facts and numbers...do the majority of Muslims/Arabs in this world hate this country? Should we now at this time really take the step towards filtering out this country and pointing out the traitor's and making their lives so miserable on a daily basis that they move to another country?

I say yes.

I absolutely agree with you...either you love this country and support it or you should get the hell out of it! I resent those who sit here as guest in our country and yet they accuse and condemn our government and our people for every conceivable thing. And what makes me even more angry are those people from other countries who have dared to tell me that our constitution protects their right to do it!!!

American Jews have been accused by many in the U.S. of placing Israel before their citizenship. Any truth to it? What I am concerned about is that we are elevating this conflagration to a battle over religous dominance. Then we can all settle in for a couple of centuries of very low-intensity combat (employing terrorist techniques). It is un-necessary to push all Christians into combat mode against their Islamic brethren. Once the toothpaste is out of the tube, it does not go back in. And no, it only comes out with sufficient rhetoric to heat the Great Unwashed on each side who remain (so far) silent. Would you be upset if the Falwell crowd or the pulpits across the U.S. began this same drumbeat? We can't murder that half of the planet. We aren't going to change their religion. We can only herd them toward better governance while avoiding a world class hatred that culminates in generational low-grade war.

You are dreaming. Oh, it is true, I have many friends who immigrated here and are good citizens who love this country and their fortune of being a part of it....as I do. But I know plenty of others who are here to benefit themselves and have no emotional ties to this country at all. You are apparently not aware of the many parties that went on across this country on the night of September 11, 2001! They happened. And they were happening because there is a segment of this society (guests here in particular) who relished in our tragedy. Wake up. BTW, I am not just talking off the top of my head. I HAVE HEARD THEM WITH MY OWN EARS Celebrating our losses.

First off, Muslims are NOT my bretheren, they are now my enemy. It is they who have declared war against us, it is THEY who already killed over 6000 of us over the years, simply because of their religion. When Muslims stop hating Jews, then we will have peace in the middle east

Second, I am not sure Jews have the dual citizenship you speakof, but they certainly have a ethnic belief to do so. They have been abused more than any people onthis planet, and for longer, too.

Bush is primed to eventually give amnesty to ll million illegals, therefore sanctioning the invasion of our country by these people. That should be more of a concern than worrying about the traitors among us.

I think it's misplaced anger. The attackers did not spring from American mosques nor has there been a shred of evidence that they even co-mingled with American muslims (unless you know of something I'm missing). For example, all these guys came through Canada but everyone wants to nuke Mexico for some reason. None of these attackers seem to have any tie to Americans and entered the country for the express purpose of doing what they did. But yet, we must all now put up with one published slam after another on the evile Islamic faith, as practiced by Americans. This whole angle is wrong. Sure looks like payback to me. Or maybe somebody with a religious axe to grind and just taking as many cheap shots as they can on innocent people because they don't like their religion. Go back and count how many of these articles you've put up. For instance, these guys are starting to quote each other (Pipes reference above). Where are the Moslem militias drilling away out in the Arizona desert? We have far bigger bonafide nut groups in America to deal with: New Black Panthers; Republic of Texas cranks; Ayrian Nation; must be fifty heavily armed organizations. These guys came from half way around the planet to do what they did. I'm going to say this again: What are these wild-eyed writers trying to accomplish? Inform the ignorant public who "just don't understand how evile the Moslem faith really is"? The only thing these articles are causing is Hate Crimes. Keep pushing and you just may get what you are asking for - The Baltics. A few more terrorist attacks and we may just spawn a little righteous ethnic cleansing of our own. Of course, I'm sure all these writers would be shocked at such ugliness but lets face it . . . they had it coming, right? Maybe just that 20%.

You get an Amen and Amen from me! The silence of the Islamic people in both the USA and Canada has been deafening. They are not emotionally tied to our Countries only what they can leach out of them. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THEM ALL SHIPPED OUT!! PERIOD

I do not have a problem kicking out aliens - legal or otherwise - that cause problems. And I do not have a problem rounding up young Arab men in on visas for additional questioning. I DO have a bigtime problem with my fellow Americans bashing other Americans who follow the prophet Mohammed.
