I'm so glad you liked the butternut squash! It's one of those dishes my mother started making several years ago and has become a family tradition. I think she's making it for our Thanksgiving gathering at my sister's.

Left over home made cranberry sauce makes a great ice cream topping on vanilla ice cream.

I'm so glad to hear that you've got Peggy Noonan's new book and that you like it. I ordered it on Amazon yesterday. I sure missed her writing while she was away doing the book and it is good to have her back writing for WSJ. I love the way she writes and talks! She is a national treasure.
And so is Coulter. I love Ann because she is courageous and bitingly funny in a very droll way. I'm rereading "High Crimes and Misdemeanors" and I keep laughing out loud. I also am highlighting it to death and writing remarks in the margins. Too funny! Thank God for the gift of these two writers.

One of my nieces made a pumpkin cheesecake this year.
Even though I'm no fan of pumpkin, it was fabulous!
In fact it's now my new favorite desert!
