Both my husband and I are veterans (Navy 17.8 yrs, me AF-4yrs). Tell your daughter we support her in every way, and pray for our Commander-in-Chief, all his advisors, civilian and military every morning and night. We have confidence that the Arm of Our Savior will be stretched over to protect and guide.

Thanks for your wishes for my daughter. I would like to add my new son-in-law who is also in the Navy. There were married a little over two weeks ago in San Diego. That was one of the reasons I haven't been posting as my youngest daughter and I stayed in San Diego after the wedding and went sightseeing in San Diego and in LA getting back to OK right before Christmas.
When I saw the title of this thread, I thought it sounded familiar -- had forgotten that it was written before the Afghan war began. Sure glad that someone found it, because it is as true today as when it was written.
Thanks to you both for your service to our Country.
