The reminder is not intended to quell debate.. it is simply a reminder to those FReepers who are ALSO government employees to be mindfull of the fact that this is a PUBLIC forum, and not a round table discussion in a "secure" location.. sometimes heated debtates may cause one to forget who it is they MIGHT be talking to unintentionally of course....

I saw no such statement, as to his target being merely government employees. Nor, in regard to a reasonable (though, still, I believe, largely unnecessary) proclaimed caution about "sharing information with the enemy," was this limited to any such smaller group. And any such caution could have been expressed in one paragraph.

No, Robinson went on a tirade about not questioning those in power, and about such actions being disloyal, and about this applying to everyone. I can read plain language. You might benefit from going back to the head of this thread and REreading it.

In the year since, he -- along with his mod(erator) squad -- has shown just how much such genuine questioning in debate he is willing to tolerate in practice. The answer is not yet zero, but it's approaching that point. He hasn't bothered to hide it.
