Gladly. It is the least I can do.

I can't stand what he's been for the last decade, but before that, he was one helluva reporter...he's gonna make a dynamite addition to Fox's war coverage. He's a thrill seeker.

Leave Dhue out of this. She is my future wife. Simply the most beautiful woman on tv.

She gets my vote for best lips on TV, hands down, and beats out Liv Tyler in a close battle for best all-around lips.

What's the deal with the replacement show on CNBC? Wall Street Journal editorial board chatting around the table? Watched 3 mins last night and [except for Dorothy Rabinowitz] it was mind-numbing boredom. Was this something they planned, or just the best they could scrape together on short notice?

Too bad the phone lines are busy, I had a doozie of a question for "Gerald." I too kept trying but I doubt my call would have been accepted by the screeners. Would have loved to sing dfu's song to him to let him know how we really feel .

I for one am willing to give him a period of time to prove himself. All things being equal, everyone deserves a chance.

In the past Geraldo has been Whorealdo. I admit it, but I will add that he had a reckless, warrior streak in him that appealed to me. Too bad he was on the other side.

He'd been fed that pap from liberalism his whole life and he bought into a lot of it. He says that the World Trade Centers atrocity opened his eyes. Maybe it did. Apparently it opened a lot of American eyes. They'd bought the big lie that no one really wanted to destroy freedom.

Lots of Jews believed that before the Holocaust struck. It opened their eyes.

But I'm just trying to protect her from Geraldo the Cad

Laurie Dhue is the most beautiful woman ever, and you just may have to do mortal combat with me over her (if my wife will let me).

My initial tendency was to give Geraldo the benefit of the doubt and see how he does. On further reflection, though, I realize this guy has been a joke from day one and will continue to be a joke whether he's a hawk or not. What was FOX thinking?

I'm inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt actually. I think people can be shocked out of formerly held opinions, and sometimes wake up.

Geraldo is a New Yorker, and if he's being transformed the way my New York sister has been (with whom I could NEVER discuss politcs before, without her shrieking defense of the clintons), then Geraldo may not be such a bad idea. He was great on the Simpson trial, unlike some people who blindly supported oj.

Geraldo exaggerates so much he can't be believed. Remember Bill Clinton did nothing wrong, Hill is brillant and Linda Tripp is the most hated woman in America. Everything is a crisis. Wait until he starts describing the "civilian casualties."

People can bash Geraldo all they want (and he does deserve some bashing after the way he went nuts defending Clinton a few years ago), but the guy does a pretty good job when doing investigative reporting. He's ruthless, of course that trait might get him shot over in the middle east.

It's kind of a shame, Geraldo had the potential to be one of the best investigative reporters ever before he jumped headfirst into the sewer; his Willowbrook reporting was truly groundbreaking. Maybe he really is a changed man, I guess only time will tell for certain.

Just was listening to him on Fox. He lost 15 neighbors on 9-11, all were parents of kids in his 2 daughters' school. He says he's changed forever, he's much more serious. The world has reached a turning point, he said, a hinge in history.
