It's Showtime for Victoria's Secret!

I don't know about you... but I planned on celebrating it with presents, and a tree... and stuff like that.
I may be old, but I'm not senile!
She has two rules about gifts -- hard and shiny or soft and warm. She got some very nice hard and shiny for her birthday. For Christmas she'll get the soft and warm. It's a tradition in out house that she makes new PJs and bathrobes for me and the kids to wear on Christmas morning. We open those on Christmas Eve. I always get her new PJs as well. Sometimes flannel, sometimes satin, sometimes satin with a soft fleece.
The other itmes that I have given her from VS (and she wears very well!!) are items you will only get to wonder about.

Well, Cable protects my children because I don't subscribe. My kids would have to come up with the money to subscribe and then sneak it into the house. Naturally we don't leave the TV unprotected and we mostly trust our children. But we also know what temptation is and I'm not thrilled about it being on broadcast TV. If my son were home alone tonight I would trust him as far as his own ability to control himself goes. I just wouldn't trust that his own ability to control himself goes that far.
As to seeing above, I don't want to see above. I know what is out there. I have to work to avoid it, and that bugs me. But right now I'm in the office and could barely scroll down fast enough to not worry about getting charged with sexual harrassment. I'm going to have to stop FReeping during work breaks if people keep posting half-dressed women in the middle of serious discussions.
No offense, but the pictures hurt me more than they helped. Perhaps others are glad you posted them, though.

Well, I a unsure as to what region you inhabit, but let me say, Here in mid town, Photos from this show will be plastered as ADS on Billboards,Buses, and Phone booths....Definitely NOT something you can shield the little ones from...
I respect your decision. Please respect mine. My children will face the real world when I have trained them to do so. Just like the Army trains its soldiers before sending them into combat (and doesn't send people under 18) I am training my children to be soldiers. There will be a day when I will suggest FR. Thanks to those who don't know how to express themselves without profanity, today is not that day.
I guess next time you will still pick the most revealing pictures when posting articles heedless of my request?
