provided you actually make up a significant enough portion of their market to care Since I don't make up the Nielson family of subject viewers, nobody knows what I do with my TV unless I tell them.
Shalom.

I respectfully suggest as a Public Service we form a "FR VIGILANCE Committee" for monitoring, policing, quantifying, and regularly reporting on, such affronts to the airwaves, the Internet, and the print media.
Any takers?

I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to get a list of sponsers. You can take "one with knowledges[?]" advice and keep the TV off, but you also have a right to complain when advertisers support efforts to broadcast sex in prime time. Maybe you can ask them what the benefits are to sexualizing children? I can't think of any except with the aim titittilate. So much for the principles of modesty. [and to think that some people on this thread actually claim to practice catholicism, et al.] Now...I'm off to work. Have have a good day.

I'm not sure of the question. Everyone has the right to insist on having their focus known and supported, even a minority of one. And a minority of one could possibly be the only one with the objectively correct viewpoint. But it is of no matter. If the other 10% want to use guns to force people to air their views and to force others to listen to them I am against it. Otherwise, they are free to knock themselves out, are they not? Once again if 90 percent of the nation supports Bush's war time efforts and the remainder insist on distorting the damn truth, how do you feel about the power of that minority?
Be honest, which bothers you more, that I hold these views and would like to express them, or that corporations might actually listen to me and remove support for T&A on broadcast TV?
Be honest with yourself! Why didn't you answer my question the first time? I wonder what charitable contributions the sponsers are responsible for every year, let alone the event itself?

I think we pretty much do it, it's just that we don't formally organize all of our findings into one place.

Refusal to associate with people of whom you disapprove is an ancient and honorable form of activism.

Every once in a while I wish that I hadn't gotten rid of cable. All I get is snow, which 99.999% of the time is preferable to what's on the TV when it's working. But that other .001%...

Christmas flannel PJs from VS
Those, sir, are just ADORABLE. And comfy, which is just what a drowsy warrior princess wants.
