Taliban leader vows destruction of United States

LONDON: Taliban leader Mullah Mohammed Omar warned Thursday of a "big" plan to destroy the United States which could happen within a short period of time, according to an interview on BBC radio.

In the interview, conducted in Pashto for BBC World Service radio, he also refused any cooperation with the formation of a new broad-based government in Kabul. "The current situation of Afghanistan is related to a big cause -- that is the destruction of America," he added.

"The plan is going ahead and God willing it is being implemented, but it is a huge task beyond the will and comprehension of human beings. "If God's help is with us this will happen within a short period of time." "Keep in mind this prediction." He said the Taliban preferred death to taking part in what would be an evil government, saying the struggle for a broad-based regime had been going on for 20 years and nothing had come of it.

Asked about sweeping gains by opposition forces, which have seen them take the Afghan capital Kabul and a swathe of the north of the country, he said the Taliban still held their southern stronghold of Kandahar. He also said it was unimportant how many provinces fell, as territory lost could be regained. - AFP

However, I'm uncommonly happy to receive input from a 4 year old if God sends it and affirms it

Omar? Omar, is that you?

Is your humor twisted or simply unkind?

Maybe clarity is not something you enjoy. Maybe I wasn't very clear originally. Maybe I should find something else to do with pearls.

I like to think and have often demonstrated . . . that if a 4 year old tells me something I need to hear about myself . . . I can be happy to hear it and apply it--especially when confirmed of Holy Spirit within me. I never want to be too self-convinced, self-important or self-whatever else to be unwilling to learn and grow from input--even from a 4 year old. . . if fitting.

Now, what about that invites derision? Or what about that do you not understand? Or what about that is genuinely offensive to you?

Perhaps you prefer fossilized, rigid, brittle old farts who are too arrogant to notice their own idiocy?

Dear Grand Poobah Superstud,

It appears past time for me to bow out of this pseudo dialogue.

I have no interest in contributing to the delinquency of a physical adult.

I apologize to your wife and kids for whatever contribution my contact with you may have added to your emotional outbursts. . . . and to you.

Have a growthful life. I do strongly encourage you to go to a CREDO workshop up in Julian or attend a CREDO group down at the San Diego house. It used to be possible even for retirees. . . .your family would thank you and your unit would thank you if you are still in. . . .and it could be one of the more meaningful experiences of your life. Your CO should have the contact numbers or the web or Navy area directory should have the numbers.

You may have the last word.

Noticed that you got out in the 1970s...back in the era of the druggied-out, free-to-be-you, free-to-be-me, free-to-hug-a-tree Navy. Close enough to the Rump Ranger Navy I thought you served in. At least the USMC I served in under Ronaldus Magnus knew what its job was and got it done.

Since Mullah Omar's injury, his remaining eye no longer gazes upon the same real world that the rest of us inhabit.

That depends on whether it is a NWO windmill designed to undermine the independence of the small mill owner in behalf of the coming tyranny . . .

or

whether it belongs to a mild mannered, hard working Hobbit merely intent on making bread and providing life giving flour to the community.

Of course there are concerns about a socialist wind; Shrillery's withering fierce hot air wind; the hurricane of tinfoil hats wind; the tornadoe of rising expectations wind etc.

Guess I'll keep on baking bread and trying to grow some fruit on the trees.
