Do you defend the Constitution? If the police pull you over, do you want to know why? Have you ever "hacked"? Are you alone? Well, guess what Freepers - if you can answer "Yes" to any of these questions (and a whole bunch more that fits nearly everyone), then you are a terrorist! Instead of continuing my rant, I'll show you the tri-fold pamphlet that this info comes from so that you can do your own ranting. Here it is:

Big Brother is watching you.

The Armstrongs were "traditional" type "British Israelites", and while nuttier than a fruitcake, were nothing like the CI bunch. CI took some BI precepts and then worked it into a deadly monstrosity.
Think of the WWCOG as a counterpart to the "peace loving muslims", and CI as a counterpart to the Taliban, and you'll have a fairly decent idea of the relationship between the two groups.

Gosh, and to think I used to think they were kind of cool. I got their free, slick magazine for awhile (ages ago). After I posted, it occurred to me that I wasn't too savvy about reading between the lines of this sort of literature and wondered if they were anti-semitic? Somewhere along the line I read that they were thrown out of Britain which I found odd because they claimed that the queen sat on King David's throne. They must have ticked off MI6 or something. I do think that some of the more contemporary identity movements are spinoffs from Armstrong's group.

This pamphlet is just like the one issued by the FBI a couple years ago in New Mexico. It was developed by the ADL and accepted as gospel by the FBI. It´s too bad we don´t have a truly independent FBI.
To: FloridaGeezer
"It´s too bad we don´t have a truly independent FBI." It's too bad we have the FBI at all! The Constitution of the United States DOES NOT authorize a national police force. If you think it is a good idea to have one, we have a CONSTITUTIONALLY authorized process whereby we can add amendments to allow such things.
If we do not respect the US Constitution COMPLETELY, we open the door for countless abuses. In fact, that is EXACTLY what we have -- one abuse after another.

My only respons eon this thread has been
in post number 164 I am not very familiar with the Christian Indentity movement, so would not be a good source. My understanding has been that their belief system leads them to be more of a White Separatists group and that they view caucasian blood lines as directly descendant from Adam and the "chosen" people of God.
But, that is only an impression and should not be taken to the bank.
I believe anyone can accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and thus be acceptable to Him. I have many black, brown, yellow and every variety of pigmentation friend whom I would trust my life, and the life of my family to. Whom I would be proud to have in a fox hole with me fighting tyranny. The principles of liberty and of fundamental morality are far more important to me than one's skin color. It is upon those principles that I base my judgements.
The Christian Identity people, if they are separatists, have every right to be so and to believe that as long as they do not infringe on others. If they want to "live apart" in covenant communities ... more power to them ... just don't try and force others to do so.
If they believe in Christ's teachings and follow them ... and if they do not try and coerse or force others and are willing to accept similarly moral people of other races and creeds as brother and sister Americans (meaning people who are committed to American liberty and the Constitution) ... then they can be allies ... just like any other belief system. ... but as you see, a lot of this is based on "if's" that I am not sure of with resect to that particular belief system.
Regards.

I remember that now. It had slipped my mind.

It's sad how few young people have ever read the constitution or have any regard to how important it is. Nowadays, if you mention it in argument regarding gun ownership rights, for example, a lot of people will consider you some sort of dangerous zealot. Some kind of extremist. That's the power of corporate mass media.
To: Jeff Head
I don't know much about the christian identity movement in the US either but, just guessing, I think it's some sort of holdover of the twelve tribes or seven tribes religious groups that happened over a hundred years ago. Basically some europeans believed that they were the real jews, the real chosen god's people. I remember Bertrand Russell poking fun at them in some book written about 90 years ago. I suppose a google search would be in order.

If they want to "live apart" in covenant communities ... more power to them ... I can't say I know much at all about Christian Identity, but if it's just living apart like you say, that seems a lot like the Amish and Mennonites are doing and that doesn't bother anyone.

Well, like I said, I am not at all versed on them ... if they want to live apart, while it might not be what I would do at all ... it is their choice.
If they want to force others to live apart, then that clearly crosses the line.
So ... don't by any stretch take what I said as what they are. Those have just been my impressions from the little I have heard and read in passing.
To: Joe Hadenuf
It's very interesting who is left out and who is included. It seems you only have to be moderately conservative and believe in the Constitution and this country to make that list, or believe in Second Amendment rights, or believe in Pro-Life. But the ones who believe in bringing down this government, running whites off their land and out of the SW like Aztlan and LaRaza, plus Black separatists groups, Communists, the Jihad group are left off.

Well, I was pleased at least to see that the left were identifed as marxists! They usually accuse the right of this!
This is old I believe, put out after the OKC bombing.
To: AdamWeisshaupt
President GHW Bush used the term New World Order all of the time! Did the Clinton administration consider him a terrorist?
