BUSH PRESS SECRETARY ARI FLEISCHER: "This is one more inconclusive study that doesn't change anything. The election was settled a year ago, President Bush won and the voters have long sinced moved on. ... I think, frankly, the media is free to spend its money on exercises that don't lead to any conclusions that the public was interested in. The voters have moved on. The country is way beyond this. ... There's no news here. It's over."

Since Bush won this year's election as well, could we have another inauguration this January 20th? I'm in the mood for another party.

President Bush is too busy running a war to personally respond to such nonsense. On the other hand, algore.......... has nothing but time, so he responded.

I think this study proves the need for Al Gore to run for president again. Maybe we can have him designated as the permanent Democratic Presidential nominee?

Whoa! Al Gore must be thinking seriously of running again. He very carefully phrased that response to make sure he didn't sound like a soreloserman anymore. He took the high road for a change.
Hmm, why does that make me nervous?:-)

Gore concedes presidential election
December 13, 2000

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Vice President Al Gore conceded the 2000 presidential election Wednesday night, effectively concluding an election that was supposed to have ended five weeks ago.
"Tonight, for the sake of our unity of the people and the strength of our democracy, I offer my concession," Gore said in televised address from Washington's Old Executive Building, adjacent to the White House.

Oh Howlin, I can always count on you for a great laugh!
The counting has probably never stopped. I can just see Tipper and Al in the basement of their borrowed home covered with chads and little scorepads with tallys all over them!
I figure the reason Al has put on some pounds is because those little chads he has been eating are fattening. Paper probably expands in the stomach when you take a slug of gatorade!

Eat your empty heart out, Liar Gore!

I am proud of the values and ideals for which we foughtLet's see ....that would be Dingle-Norwood?
To: anniegetyourgun
LOL! Sounds like Ari is plain sick and tired of this BS! He was quite dismissive of the entire project - good for him. We are fighting a war and the media is still counting chads. Says a lot, doesn't it?

Anyone see Terry McAwful on CNN this evening. Stated that they had hundreds of lawyers and volunteers to take care of "problems" that may have happened in NJ and VA. Stated that they found some shenanigans going on where the poll workers were asking for drivers licenses and such. Trying to blame republicans for trying to disenfranchise voters again. Talking about voting reform, probably more motor voter laws. What a CLYMER!
But at the same time, Judy Woodward was saying that only in the most extreme of vote counting circumstances would Gore of won.
To: Wait4Truth
Yep. I didn't get to hear Ari, but I can just imagine what he'd REALLY like to say. How 'bout these as some examples:
How 'bout you folks just quit it.
Come back when you have something significant to discuss.
Al who?
You obviously mistake me for someone who cares.
Glad to see that you newsies threw your money down this rathole.
Get a life.
Get a clue.
Get away.

Since Bush won this year's election as well, could we have another inauguration this January 20th? I'm in the mood for another party. YEAH! Great idea! Dubya's inaguration was the best birthday present I could've wished for. I'm up for seconds!

I'm reserving my opinion until Barbara Streisand has spoken.

Judy on CNN said Bush won fairly? Be still my heart! She was crying last year on the day of SC decision. Guess Fox didn't offer her a job so she figures she better get with the program and try to be a little conservative so she can keep her job.

Once again from all this mess, we see the media cannot do their job. If it was important to get a count, they would have to show what happened to the military votes (which remains muted in all the articles I read) and the other mysterious votes that cannot be examined.
The study is a waste of time except to prove the media is incompetent, biased or both.
This just fuels the fires which is what the media wants.
Another win for Cool Hand W.
