Just a quick question, figured if I can't get it answered here, there isn't an answer. Other than the unibomber, are there any other documented cases in the past 20 years or so of American left wing terrorists groups killing anyone? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

This goes back 38 years. An ex-marine and devoted communist named Lee Harvey Oswald was either part of a conspiracy or the sole assasin of John F Kennedy.

I was directed to the Faulkner site several months ago. It made me so angry I couldn't go to sleep that night. This is a perfect example. Thanks for the reminder.

1972 Fraunces Tavern Bombing. Four people die in this bombing at a historic tavern in downtown New York City. The Puerto Rican nationalist group FALN is blamed for the attack, one of the 49 bombings in New York attributed to them between 1974 and 1977
1975 LaGuardia Airport Bombing. Eleven are killed, 75 are injured in this attack by Croatian nationalists at this New York City Airport.
1981 Kennedy Airport Bombing. One man is killed when a bomb planted by a group calling itself the Puerto Rican Armed Resistance goes off in a men's bathroom at New York City's international airport.
1983 U.S. Senate Bombing. A bomb goes off in the cloak room next to U.S. Senate in the Capitol Building. Two left-wing radicals plead guilty to the attack.

Such things are generally not reported or reported as being associated with the left. Even the Unibomber was not described as a leftist. During the 60s and 70s there were over 500 bombings per year in America, mostly by leftists, but were not reported or reported as such.

Remember the Weathermen? How about lab bombings from the animal rights nuts? Katherine Soliah? Mumia Abu-Jamal? The Crown Heights riots led by our old friend Reverend Al Sharpton?
If you go to Europe, there's the Aldo Moro kidnap and murder, the Olaf Palme assassination, the deaths of 11 Israeli athletes at the '72 Munich Olympic games, the Berlin discotheque bombing, Pan Am 103, the Achille Lauro murder, ...
I'm sure I can come up with more ...

Bill Clinton released more terrorists by presidential pardon than any president before him.

The Weather Underground bombed the Math building at the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 1971, as I recall. Killed one researcher, did a lot of damage. They had dropped small bombs from an aircraft at the Baraboo Munitions plant a few months before.

Ted Kazinski was insane. I no more blame liberals for his crimes than I would blame conservatives for McVeigh's crimes. What's the point of this thread?

It was not a pipe bomb, it was a stolen van loaded with ANFO. And it wasn't the Weather Underground, it was an unaffiliated bunch of local leftists. And finally, of the four guys who lit the fuse, one is still on the run, two served some short time, and one is now a respected Madison businessman.
The poor grad student who was working in the Army Math Research Center at the time the bomb went off is still dead, and his now-adult children still grew up fatherless.
I'd attach a link but I don't have one handy. Go to Google and do a search on Madison Army Math Research Center.
And don't even get me started on my local celebrity terrorist, Kathleen Soliah....
