Bloomberg pulled in 22% of black voters and was passing Green 48-46 among hispanics, according to one estimate...

Thats huge. Must be the Sharpton vote. I honestly didn't think they would abandon Green in the end.

Why give Drudge such a hard time? He's just giving us the same information the elites have. I dont know about you, but I don't enjoy being treated like sheep. Drudge is our salvation.

I am praying like mad. I just KNOW Green will give Clinton some HUGE "ambassador-like" job where he'll have press conferences every single day!

He's already ambassador to Harlem. It doesn't get any better than that.

I don't think NY can take three disasters in one year. Hillary, 9/11 and now Green.

Oh, yeah? What if Green paid him back by naming him the "go to guy" on reconstructing New York City? He is, as we have all read, 'looking for something to do."

Imagine a Clinton press conference EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Um. . I don't know how to break this to you. . .New York City, as far as I know, only covers one time zone.

Believe me, I hear you. But Clinton's big fat red nose seems to be getting in every photo op as it is.

Why are we praying for Bloomberg? Today's New York Times reports on his ex girlfriend's testimony in court. She testified when she told him he had knocked her up, he said "kill it! kill it!" I believe it (he didn't deny it when asked and he's liberal) I'll save my prayers for something that counts, not watering down the GOP with pro abort liberals like Bloomberg.

"I don't know how to break this to you"

1) Polls open till 9PM EST in NY (I could be wrong on this)
2) Drudge is NOT a reliable source for election data see post 15

Local NY news here reported a larger than usual turn-out...which normally favors the demorats.

A former law school professor of mine used to do "pro bono" work where she would round up NYC homeless giving them food and cookies and register them to vote as Democrats. She was adhored by her students for devotion to "public interest".

I agree. A lot of people do not understand just how important this internet-reporter Drudge phenomena has been.

Drudge is a deliberate distraction. Ever wonder why the Monica story broke at exactly the moment when the black community and members of the press were beginning to ask some probing questions about Ron Brown's death? Ever wonder why Drudge spends so much time on the minutia of Clinton's sex scandals but spends very little time on matters that really could damage Clinton and the democRATS? Has he ONCE mentioned the Riady non-refund? How much airtime has he spent on the details of Filegate? Has he ONCE mentioned the circumstances surrounding Ron Brown's death? How much time has he spent on the death of Foster? How much time has he spent delving into Chinagate or Emailgate? No wonder VA Advogado likes him so much.

So without Monica, They would have grilled Clinton about Ron Brown? I doubt it.

As for Filegate, Drudge gave it plenty of play. He is not Congress and can't issue subpoenas.

As for Chinagate, Drudge has tumpheted Bill Gertz' books and articles over and over. No one in the "mainstream" press has done so.

A big city paper spends millions of dollars and has thousands of employees. The TV networks (other than Fox) are a kabal for Democrat spin. Drudge is one guy. As such, he has done a remarkable job of publicizing stories the liberals don't want to cover.

yes, they are open till 9pm. that is irrelevant to your post regarding Drudge interferring with the Florida election because he posted VNS data projecting Gore the winner while some parts of Florida was still voting.

Drudge wasnt making any personal projection of a victor then and he's not tonight. He is just repeating the exit polling. If this information is too overwhelming for someone to understand I suggest instead of trashing Drudge they either take a course in statistics or stay off his website.

Thank you for your statement. Some people are luddites and don't appreciate raw information. I would rather it not be spoonfed to me. I can make my own decisions regarding its reliability.

So without Monica, They would have grilled Clinton about Ron Brown? I doubt it.

Well, I think it is very curious that black entertainment television had just caught Colonel Gormley, the Clinton administration's AFIP stooge, in several outright LIES regarding the evidence of gunshot when Monicagate broke. It is curious that numerous Black leaders, including Jesse himself, were demanding an investigation of Brown's death when Monicagate broke. Then all of a sudden ... NOTHING. No interest whatsoever. ALL eyes were suddenly focused on Monica and her LURID tales. And Ron Brown is the ONE scandal that democRATS and NEW Republicans simply don't want to discuss. They run from the subject like POISON. I wonder why.

As for Filegate, Drudge gave it plenty of play. He is not Congress and can't issue subpoenas.

Ok. But has he ever mentioned that Ray admitted that the ILLEGAL files were STILL in the Whitehouse YEARS after EVERYONE agreed it was against the law for the Whitehouse to have even ONE of them ... YEARS after the FBI and Whitehouse CLAIMED they had been returned? Did he? Did he ever describe Linda Tripp's testimony about the files? Did he ever follow up on the story and DEMAND an accounting of how many there were, whether the contents are still on DNC computers, and whether ANYONE was ever prosecuted? Perhaps he did but I'm afraid that like most in the media he talked about the subject a little then simply "MOVED ON" to the next "story of the day". We have got to fight this tendency to "move on".

As for Chinagate, Drudge has tumpheted Bill Gertz' books and articles over and over. No one in the "mainstream" press has done so.

Ok. Look ... I appreciate what Drudge does now and then too. But to call him our salvation is as ridiculous as saying Judicial Watch/Klayman never accomplished ANYTHING. The fact is, our salvation lies in getting the GOP and Ashcroft to do SOMETHING EFFECTIVE about the crimes committed by the Clinton administration and DNC the last 8 years. It certainly isn't going to come from jumping from one scandal to the next, ad infinitum. We need to demand an investigation of the crimes with the same persistence as a bulldog holds on to its foe. We need to expect the few "conservative" media personalities to stick with an issue until it is resolved. That's one thing I admire about O'Reilly. He can be persistent. I don't think Drudge hyping exit polls is all that worthwhile. It is entertainment.

Drudge is one guy. As such, he has done a remarkable job of publicizing stories the liberals don't want to cover.

Agreed.

What I do understand is the media has no business projecting results BEFORE the polls are closed.
Reference: Presidential election night 2000
I don't got to Drudge's site simply because I find a lot of his data unreliable.
i.e. our troops got injured, etc. etc. too much negative military news, not enough "our guys did good."
I only read what others post from his site.
I have no "personal" beef with Drudge
