Oh, gimme a break. Don't try to defend an undefendable position, i.e., that a .45 is more accuarate and reliable than a 9mm. If you prefer the .45, great. But don't tell me it doesn't have more drawbacks for the average firearm user--law enforcement and military included.

For the "average" minimally trained sad sack or flatfoot, the 9mm is the way to go.
Every serious SRT and military specops unit has gone back to the .45 though. All of them.
The DA 9mm is a great first gun to break in a non-shooting chick on though, I'll grant you that.
Or weakish men with smallish hands who tend to flinch.

I shoot 357,9mm,40s&w,45's and 22's. The tightest groups are 22,357 ( revolver ),9mm,45 and then the 40s&w. But I hit my target with them all. My conceal carry is either Glock 23 or springfield V-10. Carry the glock more because of the rds it carrys.

Come on Scalia, if
you "can't" shoot then don't blame the caliber. The most accurate round is the one "you" can make hit's with regardless of the harsh or mild recoil of the caliber itself.
Your ".45 is inaccurate" comment is pure .
Every caliber is inaccurate if "you" develop a flinch because, again, " you " are not used to recoil and blame it on your choice of caliber.
Gheeeesh..... lame excuse.
