Nice try at using tu quoque. Notice you're doing the same thing here to discredit someone else that you say he does to discredit detractors of Harry Potter. If it's an invalid form of argument, then it's invalid for everyone. This is also possible: "Because you are stupid, you are not one of us." I've seen a far greater use of reasoned analysis in the "defenders" of the Harry Potter books than I've seen in their detractors.
